"Sex is more than an act of pleasure; it's the ability to be able to feel so close to a person, so connected, so comfortable that it's almost breathtaking to the point you feel you can't take it. And at this moment, you're a part of them."

It's explained with
heartbeats skipped
or sighs that slipped
a shirt that's ripped
    open. My legs split
wide, you inside, tight fit.
Bruised lips and grinding hips
and oh, baby, touch me like this.
Gentle kisses and whispered blisses
smiles and enjoying mixes
of hair and skin and love and liquids.
Drowning in caresses,
bite marks along my breasts,
and rough pushes...
It's explained with this.
30 January 2009 @ 10:49 pm
and in your absence,
i rest my head --
cold and dead --
upon my pillow,
while my eyes --
drained of all the worthless lies --
begin to close...

and in starts my twitch,
that itch --
goddamned motherfucking bitch --
the nightmare has begun...

no one to wake me --
shake me --
take me in their arms
and keep me safe from harm.
so in your absence,

Let's go fly a kite.
I want to feel the breeze

        and your hands holding mine;

I want to smell the sand
meeting the water.

Feeling my toes curl
and let hair fly

and your lips touching my ear.

Let's swim away,
forget about the cold.

We'll go find Alice somewhere
like the songs tell us to
and ask her about the Queen

        or the Caterpillar.

And you can wrap me up
into your arms, while

     I wrap you in delight.

Let's find an island to be stranded on.
We'll pretend we know

        what we're doing

and enjoy ever damn second
of being stupid and alone.
Because there will be you

     and me

        and nothing else.

But first, I'd really like
to fly a kite.

Whenever someone asks, "What's your biggest fear?" I want to hide and scream for a change of subject. I can not simply explain my fear; it's not easily justified. How do you explain to someone the concept of being afraid of time? All I can think of are the single seconds that make up time. Some are terrible; some are beautiful. They all terrify me.
In a single second, everything can change. In a second, you could look down at your cell phone while driving and look up to see bright lights heading towards you. In a second, you can drop a glass and hear it or watch it shatter into a hundred different pieces, big and small. In a second, you could blink your eyes and miss seeing a shooting star. In a second, you could turn your head to see the most beautiful thing you've ever witnessed and turn it back to see something disgusting. In a second, you could whisper an "I love you." In a second, you could miss seeing someone smile at you. In a second, you could feel sick and feel like throwing up. In a second, you could say something to get you hated. In a second, your temper could flare and you could kill someone. In a single second, your entire world could come crashing down.
I guess if it weren't for the single seconds, we wouldn't have memories. So maybe I should forget this fear. Maybe I should work around it and enjoy the single seconds that add up to an eternity of gracious and unbelievable memories.

Below the surface she lurks –
My alter, the demon I hide,
the part of me that craves destruction

Creeping, scratching, tearing –
she waits for the opportune moment
to release her talons and rip you to shreds.
When shall I give in to her?

[Do not you know the
vicious words you say
only feed upon her hunger?
The scorching need to end you
arises with each syllable you utter.]

If I weren’t stronger, if I couldn’t control her,
your very existence would give a whole new definition
to the word devastation.
      I could only
imagine the manifestation that would
come about from this hellion. The destruction

[The monster can only be satisfied for so long.
Then sets in the aridity of wrath,
the yearning for said destruction

Creeping, scratching, tearing –
the planted seed of her evil has begun to grow
and sprouts outward faster and faster.
Is this the end of all that is good in me?

There is a growl placed gingerly at my lips.
      I can feel her right at her breaking point;
there is only so much time left for you now.

[Wicked as she is, vengeful as she may become
I feel the justification in the fury for you.
A slow, warming ache in the good
sets the path for the evil. She will not be contained.]

It’s approaching quickly now, the destruction
the end of you.
Make your excuses and pray to your God.
Ask for the forgiveness that you
do not deserve and should not receive.
My patience and will diminish;

[She cries out with pride; victory will be the best damn taste.
She’s been away for an unreasonable amount of time.
She lacerates and maims the good;
there is no need for it here tonight.
The time is here. Prepare yourself for destruction

Because of you, in gardens of blossoming flowers I ache from the
perfumes of spring.
  I have forgotten your face, I no longer remember your hands;
how did your lips feel on mine?
Because of you, I love the white statues drowsing in the parks,
the white statues that have neither voice nor sight.
I have forgotten your voice, your happy voice; I have forgotten
your eyes.
Like a flower to its perfume, I am bound to my vague memory of
you. I live with pain that is like a wound; if you touch me, you will
do me irreparable harm.
Your caresses enfold me, like climbing vines on melancholy walls.
I have forgotten your love, yet I seem to glimpse you in every
Because of you, the heady perfumes of summer pain me; because
of you, I again seek out the signs that precipitate desires: shooting
stars, falling objects.

So this is how it goes
Well I, I would have never known
And if it ends today
Well, I'll still say that you shine brighter than anyone

Now I think we're taking this too far
Don't you know that it's not this hard?
Well it's not this hard
But if you take what's yours and I take mine
Must we go there?
Please not this time. No, not this time.

Well this is not your fault
But if I'm without you
Then I will feel so small
And if you have to go
Always know that you shine brighter than anyone does.

Now I think we're taking this too far
Don't you know that it's not this hard?
Well it's not this hard
But if you take what's yours and I take mine
Must we go there?
Please not this time. No, not this time.

If you run away now,
Will you come back around?
And if you ran away,
I'd still wave goodbye
Watching you shine bright.

Now I think we're taking this too far
Don't you know that it's not this hard?
Well it's not this hard
But if you take what's yours and I take mine
Must we go there?
Please not this time. No, not this time.

I'll wave goodbye
Watching you shine bright
(You shine bright, you shine bright)
I'll wave goodbye tonight.
